Coverage

What the platform serves, and what it is built for.

A sport appears as serving only once SportPedia is running it. Provider availability is a different thing and is not presented as coverage.

Sports

Twelve sports, each with its own page.

Open any sport to see the entities it needs, how a match is structured, and the pages we build for it.

Football

Competitions and what is held for each.

Seasons held, whether live results are available, and whether computed values are produced for that competition.

i Per-competition currency varies by competition and season. Where we cannot evidence it, we say so rather than implying a single freshness figure across everything.

How to read this

Three words that mean different things.

Sport

The top-level model

Each sport has its own entities, its own match structure and its own scoring shape. Twelve of them share one schema.

Season

The unit we retain

A competition season is acquired once and kept, so history accumulates instead of expiring at the end of a cache window.

Competition

Not a sport

NBA is a Basketball competition. NFL and NCAA are American Football competitions. AFL is Australian Football. They are listed under their sport, not beside it.
